It reaches round the bend
A dog's ear canal turns a corner before it gets anywhere useful. Peake Petcare is a thin liquid with a long applicator nozzle, made to travel down the canal rather than sit at the top of it.

My Store
The ear cleaner British groomers have been buying for twenty years. Cleans down the canal, then leaves it dry and open.
How often: initially twice a day for up to 2 weeks, depending on the severity. Then once a day for the next one to two weeks. For best results, once a month thereafter.
Warming and shaking are not optional. They are what lets the solution run down the canal rather than sit at the top of it.
A Victorian alcohol-based formulation. The purple version includes Gentian Violet and Boric Acid — the gentian is where the colour comes from, and it is the only difference between the two bottles.
The Colour Free version does the same job without the tint, for pale and white coats, show dogs, and anyone who would rather not see it on their furnishings.
Free UK delivery on every order. Ordered before 2pm on a working day? It goes out the same day.
If it isn't right for you, send it back within 90 days — opened or not — and we'll refund you.
Read the instruction leaflet before use. For external use in the ear only. Do not use on an ear that is bleeding or where the eardrum may be perforated. If your pet is in pain, shaking their head persistently, or you can see discharge or swelling, speak to your vet first.
Staining: the purple version may stain — please use it in appropriate surroundings. The Colour Free version exists precisely to avoid this.
Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes.
Why this one
You have probably been told that ear cleaners only treat the surface. That is true of a wipe and a cotton pad. It is not true of a thin liquid delivered down the canal.
A dog's ear canal turns a corner before it gets anywhere useful. Peake Petcare is a thin liquid with a long applicator nozzle, made to travel down the canal rather than sit at the top of it.
Warm and damp is exactly what an ear-prone dog does not need. Peake Petcare cleans and then leaves the canal dry rather than wet.
No expiry date, and no reason to ration it. Twice a day for a fortnight to get on top of a problem, then once a month to stay there. One 500ml bottle sees most dogs through all of that.
Twenty years of these
“I've been in the dog grooming profession for 35 years and this is by far the most impressive, effective ear cleaner I've come across in that time. Absolutely superb!”
“Never want to be without this ear cleaner. Finally stopped antibiotics every 3 months using this.”
“I spent over £5000 at the vets. After using this for 2 weeks I haven't been back since.”

Most people start with the 150ml. The 50ml is for the car or a first try. The 500ml is what groomers and multi-dog households buy, and works out at roughly a third of the price per ml of the 50ml.
Twice a day for up to two weeks depending on severity, then once a day for another one to two weeks, then once a month thereafter. Warm the bottle in a cup of warm water for five minutes and shake it hard for two minutes before every application — skipping that is the usual reason it underperforms.
It is not formulated to sting a healthy ear. An ear that is already sore or broken is a different matter, and that is a dog who should see a vet before anything goes in the ear.
